We are a hands-on activity farm and encourage interaction with our rare breed animals...
Cholderton Charlie's Farm is set over 48 acres of land and was originally a dairy farm. It was converted into an attraction in the 1980s and was known as Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm. Although the owners have changed, we are still as focused as ever on the survival of rare breed farm animals. Information boards are displayed for each of our rare breeds with details of their backgrounds and why we continue to maintain our effort to support the valuable work of the Rare Breed Survival Trust (RBST).
Whether you are a family looking for a fun day out, a school group planning an educational visit or simply hoping to break a long journey with a cup of tea, Cholderton Charlie's can cater for all of your needs! You can even stay with us in our YHA-affiliated four star rated youth hostel or by perhaps trying a unique camping experience in one of our four tipis?
In addition to our daily activities, we have outdoor play areas, sandpits, ride on tractors, a large indoor soft play area and tractor rides (season and weather permitting). that give everybody a tour of the farm!
Cholderton Charlie's Farm cater for things to do in Wiltshire, Family Day out in Wiltshire, Hostel Accommodation and even School Farm Trips.
OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK ALL YEAR ROUND!* We are currently open every day from 10:00 - 16:00 until the end of March 2012. From 01/04/12, we will be opening 7 days a week from 10:00 - 18:00 with additional activities added for the summer season!

Season Tickets
We offer great value season tickets! Valid for a full calendar year from date of purchase, these tickets allow unlimited entry to the farm until the date of expiry. It's a great way to keep the children entertained during the school holidays or just to allow them to run around after school. It ables you to get to know our animals from birth, learn all about them and watch them grow.
Season ticket prices:
Adult: £34.00
Child: £28.00 (2-17 years)
Senior: £28.00 (aged 60+)
Family: £95.00 (2 adults and 2 children)
We now have gift vouchers available in £10 and £20 denominations. They make an ideal present for any member of your family or friends.
Day admission prices

Child: £5.50 (2-17)
Senior: £4.95 (aged 60+)
Family: £22.00 (2 adults and 2 children)
Please note:
Children under 2 years of age are admitted free.
Visitors should be aware that dogs are not permitted on site (except assistance dogs.)
